Subject: Correction on yesterday's Myrtle Beach report.

Dennis Forsythe asked me- *How sure are you of the Wild Indigo Duskywing,
they are very scarce on the coast and there is no Horry Co. record. *

I answered, I'm not very familiar with the Wild Indigo, but thought the
following was not a Horace's which I see frequently and not a Zarucco which
l'm also not very familiar with. Used Glassberg's field guides...
especially plate 52 in *Butterflies thru Binoculars, The East. *My photo
was similar to the female pictured there. I also checked the timeline in
same field guide and found Wild Indigo, but not Zarucco occurring in late
September for NC.

Dennis, who is far more experienced with coastal Duskywings, examined my
photos and said my sighting was a Zarucco . When I consulted other online
sources, I found photos of the Zarucco that were similar to my photos.
