I have been taking butterfly surveys of my yard in Aiken, SC over the last =
week.=C2=A0 Below are the results.

10/20/20 1:52 PM to 2:30 PM

Gulf Fritillary Butterflies 14

Gulf Fritillary Caterpillars 15 all on non-native Passiflora caerulea.=C2=
=A0 Passiflora incarnata on other side of yard is recovering but has no cat=
erpillars.

Long-tailed Skippers 10

Fiery Skippers 10

Ocola Skippers 8

Clouded Skippers 2

Dun Skipper 1

Cloudless Sulphurs 2

Gulf Fritillary Butterflies 10

Gulf Fritillary Caterpillars 16 all on non-native Passiflora caerulea.

Silver Spotted Skippers 2

Long-tailed Skippers 11

Today I went out to do another survey (10/27/2020) but got sidetracked.=C2=
=A0 There was a Zebra Longwing in the yard.=C2=A0 This is only the second t=
ime we have had one.=C2=A0 The previous time was 11/12/2013 and my wife was=
the only one who saw and photographed it.=C2=A0 I was out bird watching el=
sewhere that day:(=C2=A0 I also saw and photographed an Eufala Skipper toda=
y as well.
