Today, Mary Stevens in central Harnett County (west of Lillington) sent me
a photo of a Zebra Longwing from her yard, taken this morning. It was
nectaring on lantana. This is a "yawner" for Harnett County -- already 3
previous records (1989, 1999, and 2013), all by Paul Hart.

So -- with this unseasonably warm weather to continue in NC for another 5
days -- expected to have highs at least 74 or 75 degrees thru Thursday --
don't give up hope yet for one in your yard or county! Heck, let's get a
few other strays from SC up here!
