Lori Arent and I weren't really looking for butterflies (especially
skippers) this morning at the Flat River impoundment northeast of Durham,
but we did see the following -- on another sunny and quite warm day:

Cloudless Sulphur 12
Sleepy Orange 10
Little Yellow 1
E. Tailed-Blue 1
Variegated Fritillary 4
Pearl Crescent 25
Common Buckeye 12
RED-SPOTTED PURPLE 1 getting late; rather worn but not tattered
Question Mark 4 + 2 Polygonia sp.; haven't seen a Comma in several weeks
Clouded Skipper 1
