I made a rare afternoon-only butterfly trip, as mornings are too cold. I
hit the east side of Umstead State Park for an hour, and then made a futile
trip over to Schenck Forest. Here is the little I saw at WIUM:

E. Tiger Swallowtail 4
Falcate Orangetip 2 one a female, the other not sure
Summer Azure 2
Juvenal's Duskywing 4

My first ode of the year was a nice one -- a Uhler's Sundragon along one of
the creeks in the park near Ebenezer Church Road. And, the *Nemophila*
population in the park -- the only one in Wake County(?) -- keeps expanding
in the rich floodplain there.
