That's a good day's work, Mike.
Here at Gray's River, the first real sunny day, all day, in weeks. I=20 can't decide whether the gods are just being ironic by doing this on the=20 Summer Solstice.
In a couple hours on the front porch, I saw one Clodius parnassian and=20 one western meadow fritillary, which I believe are breeding in my=20 violet-strewn "lawn" now. Those are only the second and third species of=20 butterflies I have seen here all year! And I think that is the first=20 time I have ever seen a parnassian out here prior to a single=20 swallowtail.
