Hello Doug,
I suggest starting a Carolina Odonates project page on iNaturalist, if you = wanted to create one for both North and South Carolina. iNaturalist also h= as suggestions for promoting projects so that people know your project is a= vailable. Projects =C2=B7 iNaturalist<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.inatura= list.org/projects__;!!OToaGQ!o2Fg1LSHidRn9Jr7CKTmpyUwzjVtSESQgSChY9kPZEE73V= -gLfl810EdkB1QBecEToSUjUovgwGlM0UsAB5QgDE$ >
There are quite a few regional odonate projects, Search Projects =C2=B7 iNaturalist<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.= inaturalist.org/projects/search?utf8=3D**B&q=3DOdonates__;4pyT!!OToaGQ!o2Fg= 1LSHidRn9Jr7CKTmpyUwzjVtSESQgSChY9kPZEE73V-gLfl810EdkB1QBecEToSUjUovgwGlM0U= s3QsBHHU$ >
and I found one there for South Carolina odonates: South Carolina Odonates =C2=B7 iNaturalist<https://urldefense.com/v3/__http= s://www.inaturalist.org/projects/south-carolina-odonates__;!!OToaGQ!o2Fg1LS= HidRn9Jr7CKTmpyUwzjVtSESQgSChY9kPZEE73V-gLfl810EdkB1QBecEToSUjUovgwGlM0UsMx= AbBF8$ >
This might be just the place to post your observations and have them availa= ble for researchers.

Hi Harry and Christopher., Thanks for suggestions. I have an iNaturalist account, unused for severa= l years, so I'll figure out again how to upload a couple of photos there Doug.

But unless you upload your photo of the Forceptail to either iNaturalist or= to OdonataCentral =E2=80=94 your record will likely go to waste. My sugge= stion is probably upload it to iNaturalist or send it it someone who will d= o it for you. Chris Hill is the states best odonate expert, so he can provi= de advice.
