I'm new to this group. We've been trying to establish a small native
"meadow" area in yard in East Dennis, MA. We're in the 3rd year of this
project, and this year is the first that the garden has really taken off.
There are pollinators there all day long now, so I've been paying a bit
more attention to the butterflies and taking their photos to try to
identify them and learn a bit more about them.

Here are a few photos of the butterflies (and one moth) I've seen in the
past few days. I've used iNaturalist to help identify them, corrections
are welcome! All were seen in our pollinator garden in Quivet Neck, East
Dennis.

1.* American Copper*

autumnale*

2. *Pearl Crescent. *Observed three of these today Sept 1mainly on what I
believe is False Sunflower *Heliopsis helianthoides*
