Only had about an hour in early afternoon on 9/5/22 to check some roads in western Hertford Co., NC. Despite mostly cloudy conditions during this time I lucked into two nice areas with a variety of nectar sources, including mistflower, goldenrod, and Lespedeza cuneata at a wet cutover and Eupatorium, ironweed, and goldenrod in a drier powerline cut.
