Audrey and others,

Getting late for me to check -- with clear eyesight! -- your skipper photos
now (1035 pm) on iNaturalist, though I did approve one. I set up the
Project -- Butterflies of North Carolina -- about 2 months ago -- and thus
I help to review many photos, along with some other folks. I'll go over
what I see in your photos -- easy to miss a few on iNaturalist -*-
tomorrow.* On face value, a few species above might not be out there now
or would be very hard to be sure of -- such as Northern Broken-dash; and
Clouded Sulphur should not be out there in the eastern Coastal Plain.

But, you do have some nice photos, and I'll try to give a refined list
tomorrow. Yes, I have been out there many times in the past, in
mid-September, so have a good feel for likelihood. And, you folks can
check on that by clicking on the county maps -- Hyde and mainland Dare --
for many of these skippers (like Twin-spot), and see what records there are.

Harry LeGrand

PS -- Glad anybody is checking for wetland skippers out there these days!
