Searching for Henry's elfins. The temps were well into the 70's and there was full sun. Although the Henry's were there and two actually came down to within photo distance, I miserably failed at my one photo opportunity. :( For the most part, the Henry's all stayed up high in the trees for whatever reason. Also, this remains the only place where Mourning Cloaks will buzz past your face in a somewhat aggressive manner. Has anyone seen this anywhere? Same thing happened last year. This year, one even landed on my head for a short bit. So strange. 4 Henry's elfins Here is my best (only) photo.
