I had some time to spare so I went to scout out some new locations in
Middleborough, MA today. Great day with full sun and high around 70
degrees.

*Pratt Farm:*
This looks like the place with the most potential of the two. There is one
small field near the parking lot that appears to get mowed and is mainly
just grass, and one larger field beyond that through a short walk on a
nicely maintained trail through the woods. The second field is loaded with
sprouting milkweed and, unfortunately, poison ivy. There is a lot more
area for me to explore there with trails through the woods, down to a pond
and a small river, etc.

5 eastern pine elfins
2 spring azures
1 eastern tiger swallowtail flyover
1 clouded sulphur

*The Soule Homestead:*
This location was a little bit of a letdown as far as what seems like good
potential as the season goes on. It has a few things going for it, there
is a very small community garden area, some trails through woods, a small
pond, etc but appears to be mainly an old farm. They said the back fields
were being used as organic farming of some sort. They were thrilled to
have me come by and let them know what butterflies they had and welcomed a
club field trip there in the future.

25+ clouded sulphurs
20+ cabbage whites
1 spring azure
1 black swallowtail
