The Joint Base Cape Cod (JBCC) will be hosting an Acadian Hairstreak walk again this year. Recently Acadian Hairstreaks have been seen in very few locations in Massachusetts and JBCC is the best site for this butterfly. JBCC is an operating military base and access is restricted. The walk is planned for 7/1, but is subject to rescheduling at the last minutes depending on the weather and the requirements of the Base. If you are interested in joining the walk I will need the following information by 5/31 in order to obtain security passes needed to enter the base. This information will be used to perform background checks. Further information will be provided as we approach the time for the walk.
