We quit at 2:30 PM when the heat index had gotten so high and the sand along the trail was so hot. We got into our air conditioned car, drank a Biolite and came home but we had a good time. Our best none butterfly was a Northern Bobwhite which we got to see and hear. We had: Zebra Swallowtail 12 Eastern Tiger Swallowtail 1 Little Yellow 18 Sleepy Orange 4 Cloudless Sulfur 9 Gray Hairstreak 1 CERAUNUS BLUE 2 Gulf Fritillary 9 Duskywing sp.
