Due to a very intense storm here Thursday afternoon, I lost power
until late Friday. We received over 3 inches of rain with high wind,
While cleaning up debris Saturday I checked on my plants and the
butterflies. Even with a lot of the plants tossed around, a lot of
butterflies were observed; however, the number of skippers are down
after the storm including the usually ubiquitous Silver Spotted
Skipper. The one exception was 5 Delaware Skippers on a thistle.
