I received two photos that were taken by John Fruit at the end of the road
(US 421) at Federal Point, Fort Fisher, New Hanover County, yesterday
(Sept. 12). I had seen two of these in that area a few falls ago, and
Hunter Phillips photographed one in Onslow County a few weeks ago, right
after Tropical Storm Idalia.

So, folks in the Wilmington/Bald Head areas, keep your eyes open for this
stray in the next few weeks, not to mention for Zebra Longwing -- one was
photographed a week ago in nearby Southport -- and for other southern
strays.
