Hello all! I forgot to tell you about my other walk on Saturday, how did I =
miss that! I walked about a mile stretch of the Reedy Fork Trail in Greensb=
oro in search of Falcate Orange Tips. The Triad Chapter of CBS is going out=
there this coming weekend, but I can't join because I'll be in Asheville. =
So, I decided to venture out and see if I could find them. There is suppose=
d to be a colony on that trail. I did see one! Ninety percent sure. It was =
a female and had all of the markings, but no orange tips. A bike whizzed by=
just at the point that I was going to get close enough for a picture and t=
hen it flew deep into the brush! Rats! I also saw the following:
Zebra Swallowtail 2Eastern Tiger Swallowtail 1Duskywing Species 1Cabbage Wh=
ite 1Comma/Question Mark 1Falcate Orange Tip 1
As for the Comma/Question Mark, it was dancing around Me1 but I couldn't ge=
t it to land anywhere so I could see the markings clearly. If I had to real=
ly guess, though, I'd go with Question Mark.=C2=A0
Good Butterflying,
