Having heard nothing by Saturday morning other than from a few people who we know really well, we made the decision to have those few people over to see the pipevines in our yard instead. Nasketucket has been bad on good weather days this year and the clouds certainly weren't going to help there. I gave it no thought that someone might be waiting at the parking lot for the walk. So, my apologies to the one person I know and anyone else who may have gone and not had us there. In the future, I will be adding to the bottom of my field trip descriptions that if people plan on attending that they need to contact me first. I thought it was clear in the description, but in re-reading it now, I see that it isn't actually clear at all.
