Then a female came in, flew around a few of our plants and landed on the partridge pea. I sit right at the window with my camera by my side all day so I was able to snap off a few pics of her ovipositing on the plant! It was pretty wild to see that. Later on, I went to the Great Neck Audubon Sanctuary to see what was flying there. Very little was there other than the usual American Coppers, Eastern-tailed blues, etc since there is very little nectar. I did happen to follow a male Cloudless Sulphur around the fields down there as well but he never landed on anything.
