Guilford County - Jamestown 8-29-2024 and 8-30-2024

Marie Poteat

With the high temperature Thursday, I did not spend much time outside;
however, I did take 30 minutes before lunch to check for hairstreaks in the
mountain mint patch. Today was a little cooler so I was outside more, and
the butterflies did not disappoint. I did see the White-M for the 4th day
in a row. It appears to be the same one. I also saw a fresh Gulf
Fritillary that seemed to have just eclosed. The highlight of the day was
a Little Yellow.
