Good that some of the most prolific butterfliers in the central mountains
are OK, though I'm sure it will be weeks if not months before getting
things back to normal in Asheville and Hot Springs. I expected that River
Road would have a brand new look -- probably both the paved portion and the
dirt portion -- whatever that means. Most of us won't be visiting River
Road for butterflies anyway until March or April next spring, so -- no
telling what the road will look like then, and if there will be many
butterflies at all there. Fingers crossed!
