Subject: [MassLep] Off topic, Comet

For those that saw me leave the Fall meeting early -- I did make my=20
excuses ahead of time -- here's the fruit of my labor.

I left to chase comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan=E2=80=93ATLAS). Tonight was th=
e=20
best chance to see it as it may be at its brightest and the weather=20
after this evening isn't as favorable. I'm pleased to report success.=20
This evening it was visible from 7 - 7:30 PM. By 7:30 it was low on the=20
horizon and rapidly disappearing the ground clutter light pollution of=20
Worcester 20 miles away. It was hard to find, faint to the naked eye and=20
I wouldn't have found it but for folks looking with binoculars.

Here's a link to a photo.
