Still plenty of butterflies but fewer species on the wing.=C2=A0 My flower = gardens are looking exhausted in spite of still pushing out plenty of bloom= s.=C2=A0 I'm reluctant to pull the plants since so many butterflies rely on= my yard as a nectar source.=C2=A0 Other than roadside wildflowers, the gen= eral area is devoid of flower gardens save an occasional Lantana or Knockou= t Rose or two.=C2=A0 Report below reflects observations on my yard alone. There are well over a dozen Cloudless Sulphurs, Long-tailed Skippers and Oc= ola Skippers flying in my yard right now and the same for all of October, t= hough numbers are gradually declining.=C2=A0 Gulf Frits ...at least 8.
